Best day pack that will carry a bow.

I have the Badlands 2200, Superday, and the Eblerstock Tailhook. To be honest I never use my tailhook to carry my bow. It's the older model though and the new one looks pretty cool.

I use my Badlands 2800 as a day pack all the time now.  Easily handles a bow or rifle.

I'm a big fan of Eberlestock packs and I have tried real hard to like the buttbucket.  But I just have never liked it and can not seem to figure a way to like it any better. 

My favorite small pack with bow carrier is Blacks Creek Western pack.  Though I do not think she makes them anymore.  Perhaps someone who knows more about the Tensing products can say if Jay took that nice bow carrier feature with him.

Its funny, your one of the few people who can post about a certain piece of gear and I ALWAYS find myself looking it up Looks like camofire had that black creek western pack for 68$ awhile ago.

Did lots of research this year on new packs and got a X2, added the Bow Bucket and its been working better than expected...very easy to use and bow stays right there.

Me too.  Though I will add, when it is below 25 degrees, it gets a bit noisy for stalking.

I like the Eberlestock x2 but would also consider the new Kuiu Icon 1800.

I bought the cabelas brand scout pack earlier this year. After my badlands pack suffered dual shoulder strap failure while on a hike I needed a new one. I got it on sale and I'm rather happy with it. It was kind of tricky figuring out how to strap the bow in it, but once you figure it out its a breeze.
