Best day pack that will carry a bow.

Almost any pack will carry a bow just fine.  I wouldn't buy one with a special bow compartment - just more weight that I won't want when I'm rifle hunting.  Bows are easy to attach to the back, just need a couple straps.  Rifles are more difficult.  I posted this one earlier today in a different thread, but it applies here too!

I've had a tough time finding bow friendly packs locally. I needed one that was motorcycle friendly as well.

It does pretty well on the bike. There are a few things that could be better like the cam covers. Plenty of room and pockets.

+1 to KFhunter, I really liked having my X1A1 for a day pack this year.  It had more than enough room and the quickdraw hookup was nice to have.  Plus I can easily carry a front shoulder and meat bag out on the first trip. Plus the built in rifle scabbard works really well for a spotting scope or tripod.

I previously posted about the bow sling pack I have been using. It does work great for the purpose it was purchased for - riding on my motorcycle with the bow.

Today I ran across Nimrod packs. Really like this pack system. Ended up getting a Pinnacle pack and a few accessories. Bow rides nice a secure. Lots of space. Very flexible system. Comfy. And..... made locally in the Western Washington. It probably will not replace the sling for riding on the motorcycle though.

Blacks Creek Canadian. It has almost 4k cubic inches, a detachable smaller pack and rifle/bow harness. It also comes with a rain fly attached. The pockets on the inside are awesome and you can organize your smaller gear. The pack also has 3 cinch straps on each side so when not loaded you can cinch it down pretty small. I huge plus to this pack is that it has a meat shelf/compartment. I personally packed 2x caribou quarters in this pack on my last 40 mile hunt in AK and it did the job great.
