2nd post, Snoqualmie Valley Bear?
« on: October 28, 2008, 08:32:59 AM »
Posted earlier on my pup however need some advice.  :dunno: Getting frustrated,  :bash: spent the whole deer season high and low east of the mountains, to bad it's so short, saw a lot of does and no legal bucks, kind of the general consensus this year seems like.  Anyway also have bear tag saw some sign over there as well but not much.  Looking for somewhere closer to home, spend quite a bit of time time out duvall carnation fall city way.  Any suggestions on bear or blacktail would be great!!! (haven't hunted westside exceptfor birds) would like to put some meat in the freezer!

:cue:
If the river was whiskey and i was a duck, i'd dive to the bottom and never come up.

assuming your gun hunting?  westside deer get a lot of pressure but watching cuts isn't the only way to hunt blacktails.  You have to get into their core areas.  They are generally where you find them.  Bucks are focusing on does right now.  The rut should peak around 11/12.  Rattling and calling work well but you have to have faith and choose your set ups carefully.  Good luck.
