Puyallup/skokomish season
« on: July 17, 2013, 11:58:30 AM »
Do you think a season will be set for lower puyallup and skokomish. I emailed wdfw about the issue and they gave the hole we are working with the tribes for you to set a season excuse. They said we would know by the first week of july and that came and went with no season setting. Are we going to get screwed agian on whats supposed to be the biggest run yet for pinks and a good run for kings?

The ceded the decisions for a Puyallup season to the tribe.
How does it feel, to know your fishing season will be determined by the Puyallup Indian tribe?

Thats garbage. Makes me hate the state more and more. I have always fished the lower puyallup for fresh pinks now im thinking about finding out about the green. Never fished it and its a further drive but if its good i will go there.

Well after the last two seasons with the battle between the fishermen and the tribe,,I can understand why tribe wants to keep it closed on the rez.

I see the tribe act out too not just fisherman. Saw a tribe member pull up and lift his jet motor up and spay all the anglers and take off on the puyallup once. And seen many other acts too.

Lots of good spots on the Green and no fighting with local tribes. The Puyallup has become such a mess lately with the lack of fishing access and where there is, it's combat fishing with every fisherman out there.
