Wynoochee cow tag

Hey everyone, I recently got drawn for my cow tag in the wynoochee unit, its good Nov21-Dec15, I plan on going archery elk in sept. but if no luck there i will have to make a couple trips down south! Does anyone have any advise if it is worth my time to do the hunt. just 2 or 3 day trips!
