University of Elk Hunting DVD
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:27:01 PM »
Phelps Game Calls will be now be selling the Elk101 "University of Elk Hunting" 2 DVD set.  $19.95 + S&H.

I purchased the set more to compare how Elk101 and I compare in our styles.  I was impressed that we are on the same page for 95% of the information.  It is similar to the information I present in my elk hunting seminars.  I would rate the material from beginner to intermediate, but is all you will ever need to kill 95%+ of the bulls you will encounter.

With season close to only a month away this DVD has some great information for the beginner all the way to the experienced elk hunter.

This is a good DVD set.  What really surprised me about it is Corey's simplistic approach to bugling.  Very interesting, and I'll be applying his tactics come fall.

Man, I sure wish a DVD set like this was available when I first started bowhunting elk 15 years ago :)

Pretty good reference. Disk 1 was full of stuff most of us already know and do. Disk 2 was good, learned quite a bit.
