Seems like you just want to ruin someone cause they made a mistake! Wish i was as perfect as you! Do you know the reasons? What if there was an emergency and you just ruined her business because of it? Pretty crappy thing to do exposing someone like that!  :twocents:

This aint the first time, or second, or probably third. I've seen this time and time again with her. :dunno:
in 6 months of membership? Hmm. You ever taken anything to her? Ever met her? Michele is a straight up kind of person im sure there is a good explanation.
i cant stand an internet lynch mob when it comes to someones livleyhood. If you dont know the reason hold onto your opinion until the accused has a chance to explain! :bash:
Seems like he's more caught up in 6 months than some of the veterans on here.
I have no job. What else am I going to do. :dunno: Chuckle:

I'm sure Michelle has a dang good reason. I've had work done by Michelle in the past and she was always upfront about what was going on. She had a bear of mine a few years ago during the tannery dilemma that affected her and a couple other of our resident huntwa taxis and she was straight and to the point about the delay.

Instead of rallying a mob and lighting torches and grabbing pitch forks why not give Michelle a chance to handle this in a professional business woman / client manner. IE amongst themselves and not try to air a bunch of speculated dirty laundry in the open

I agree I had a bear with her during the same time, no issue with communication and her work is excelent.

As in the Michelle that is a sponsor here? That dont make sense. I bet she shows up on here and makes things right and tell her side of the story.

Wow if this is a thread about a site sponsor and it is a recurring theme, maybe this place needs to look into who can be a sponsor.
I would like to hear her side but man in reality how much time is reasonable for a taxi to have your gear?

Has she communicated with you at all during those three years? If I remember correctly i think she mentioned having some family issues/illness in the last couple of years.

I've got a bear hide and my girlfriend's buck with Michelle.  When I first spoke with her about doing them, she was very upfront with how far behind she (and other taxidermists as well) was because of a quality/turnaround time issue with a tannery.  Flat out told me it could take a couple years for her to get caught up.  I was/am fine with that wait for the quality of her work.  Is multi year turnaround time excessive, yes, but it's understandable to me with her situation.  I'd imagine it would be tough to turn away business, which I understand she has had to do (at least via price increases).

This is the second thread like this is the last several months. There are lots of good taxidermists out there that will get your stuff back in a reasonable time.  :twocents:

We had her do a euro whitetail mount and were very happy, looks like something else is going on. She does really good work and is worth the wait.

sorry about the communication problems I would think there is an explanation.

The last time I talked to her was October of last year. She said she was tired from deer hunting and would call me back but never did. Before that she called me to ask if I was the one who started the reasonable time frame thread.During that conversation I was told my bear would be started in a couple weeks.I have left many voice messages.I can understand tannery problems and getting behind on rugs but the two things that got this thread started are the lack of communication and a 3 year wait on a skull cleaning

On  her FB page I just noticed it said "former" taxidermist at Michelle Nelson's Taxidermy... I wonder if she has stopped doing taxidermy.  :dunno:
