As some have noticed I have NOT been active on Hunting Washington for the entire Month of July.  I believe I was last active on July 1st (per another members post).  That is because I have been on a Vacation/Staycation for almost the entire Month of July.  I have done work on peoples projects but it has been minimal.  I took some time off and also worked on completing projects around the house and property that have been put off for way longer than they should have, but needed to be done soon or I would be to busy to do them.  During this time I took a little bit of a mental break from taxidermy and the business end of it.

Today is the first day since July 1st that I have "read" or "answered" any PM's sent to me on this site.  For the last couple months I have not been receiving E-mail notifications from HuntWA when I do get a PM (not sure why).  Also I have not answered my phone.  No one was intentionally being ignored out of malice.

After waiting nearly 3 years on a deer euro and bear rug I'm at the end of my patience. She took the buck hide in trade and has been paid $750. At this point I just want my property back.Voice mails have failed a response and so have pm s on this site,so here it is out in the open were  it can't be ignored.Hopefully Michele will get back to me so I can pick these up this weekend finished or not.

As you can see Machine did send me 2 PM's (Only ones I could find in my PM box, I am not good at emptying my inbox).  His first PM was sent to me on the 2nd, and his second sent to me on the 9th.

I also received at least 1 Voice message from Machine but it was after the 1st.  I believe there was a second message left but I couldn't make it out due to static but what I could here sounded like it might have been another message from him.

As for the phone call he said he made, and I told him I was tired from deer hunting and couldn't talk, I honestly do not remember that conversation.  Not saying he didn't call.  Just saying I don't remember.  I must have been really out of it.

Just curious here, but why wouldnt you return a clients call? Not that its my business but you have had a lot of negative things towards your business here that could have been avoided. Again just curious, but if you tell your clients that PMing you here is the best way to get ahold of you then sholdnt you try to keep better track of your inbox?

I was on Vacation.  Why go on vacation if your going to answer phone calls?  You go on vacation to get away from work. . .  Answering PM's IMO is just like answering a phone call.  Phone calls went to my Voice Mail.  I listened to all of them this evening.  They will all be returned.

I've never said or intentionally said PMing me on this site is the "best" way to get a hold of me, but it is a good way.  It is one way of many to get a hold of me.  I have an E-mail, a Phone, and this site.  Sometimes people send me messages on facebook but that's isn't the best way to get a hold of me.

Like i said i was just curious. A month just seems like a long vacation.
If i left my clients on hold for a month i would be out of business plain and simple.

To each their own, i was rootin for ya fyi. Just deems like a long turn around on a skull.

Yeah I would agree a month is a long time to go on Vacation.  I apologize to those that thought I was maliciously ignoring them.  It wasn't intended like that.

I did work on customer projects here and there but I had some work to do around and to the house that needed to get done before it starts raining.  Now that I have gotten all my honey do repairs and projects about 98% done I will be back at it full tilt working on clients projects come Monday.  I just have a few more things to wrap up.

Hey RoyBoy,

How about going back through some of my older posts and reading up on everything that was involved around the Tannery change back in 2010.  Before you make your comments.  I have posted them about 4 or 5 times.  I'm not going to do it again.  If you don't understand something a PM or Phone call for an explanation would be nice.  It's better than having misunderstandings and untruths floating around.

In 2011 the taxidermist that was doing a mount for my dad was using Kettle Falls Tannery and everything got messes up and backlogged because of a problem with the tannery. It took 12 months to get the mount back which seemed like a long time (original quote was six months) and the taxidermist even said that it was much longer than normal. He called us back with frequent updates and let us know what was going on and when he was expecting to have the mount done. Anything less than that type of communication would have been unacceptable in my opinion.

Is it really 3 years turnaround on a euro?

I don't know you or your work, but if you run a business why didn't you hire someone to return phone calls when you were not going to be doing so yourself for a month? Or at a mininum change your voicemail telling your customers what was going on?
