Well shoot - should we start a pool on when the rec properties shut down.  This is DRY.  For the first time in 3-4 years it's almost bear season and I still haven't bought a permit.

Rayonier is the land company who is SELLING rights to hunt on their land. So far Hancock has not where I hunt. I think it is wrong. They get tax breaks and still profit yearly from there land. Close gates to PUBLIC GAME that the licence fees help support.

supposed to rain thursday and friday and the humidity has stayed at a decent level so far. hope for a few more days of rain and heavy dew in the mornings.

Received word today Saturday August 3rd it will be closed... Han., SDS, Longview Fiber and Weyco.... The Goldendale Fire seemed to push their decision forward to close....
