I can suggest that I have the same problem.

Got so sick of my lab tearing up beds- eventually I gave both our dogs an assortment of old fleece blankets for their outdoor bed. At least then if he pulls them out and uses them for a toy he can't get stuffing all over.

Would like to find a bed made stronger, or out of something they wouldn't like to chew, also.

My dog needs a dog couch. She would be very insulted if I made her sleep in straw.

Those are nice beds and one of the few that stand a chance against a really destructive dog.

The one I bought lasted two weeks before my little SOB English setter gnawed a hole in the middle. He also chews on rocks, eats onions from the garden, and occasionally his own droppings... so there is no accounting for taste.

Concrete slab.  See if he shaws that up
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27:3

The wife is picky and won't have PVC in the house. No straw either.

Orvis has one but the reviews say the new ones are not as good. Anyone have experience?
