 Tonight you absolutely need a huge bowl of vanilla ice cream buried in berries!

Ha, I just had a dish of ice cream with I call it berry sauce, nuke the berries  with a little sugar for 20 seconds and add a little corn starch to make instant delishisness.

"I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: 'I served in the United States Navy.'"

juice them and put the juice in 2 gallons worth of containers with narrow mouths.  Big juice bottles work great. put in 3-4 pounds of sugar and mostly fill with water then add a packet of yeast.  poke a hole in a balloon and put it over the top.

wait a month or two til it stops fermenting.

siphon it off the sediment and drink.

brilliant dessert wine

One year I made 20 gallons in 4 carboys of real blackberry wine.  In an Apartment.  Still remember the headaches

heat until the skins break.

add sugar and remove from heat

add moonshine or 100 proof vodka

let sit for 2-3 months

filter into canning jars

wait as long as possible
