It will be no issue with a pack or camel.  The binos slide along the straps in front and the back just stays put.  Use mine with a full pack all the time.

I had a Crooked Horn system but it stretched after a while and drove me crazy, I've got the Nimrod now and it's built a little different so it won't stretch, great product, plus you can purchase a cover for your eye piece that connects to the strap and keeps your binos clear from debris or rain. If you're hiking a lot this is the only way to go. I've never had problems carrying calls or anything.

I did get the cover for my Nimrods also, those are a must have. Most of my hunting is done behind locked gates so I always have my Badlands 2200 on and nothing interfears with the nimrod or the crooked horn systems.

Checked mine at lunch, and it is the crooked horn. No complaints from me and I've had it probably 3-4 years.

I use the Crooked Horn system. They work fine for me. I've used them for 3 or 4 years. I have 10x50 Pentax bino's and they stay put just fine for me. Don't go big game hunting with out eather one!

I use the harness from Mad Dog Gear.







I like the cover feature and the way it keeps it from swinging away from your body. I believe mine cost about $30 dollars.

I have had the Crooked Horn for years, they worked out ok. I found that they stretch out and there is alot of bounce in my bino when I walked. I recently switched to the Nimrod. The design is much better. The top strap is not elastic and that eliminates all the bounce with a heavier bino. I love it.
