Poulsbo - was this taken in the Clearwater area. I've heard rumor of a 620 lb black bear taken in the Clearwater area but this may just be the bruiser they were talking about. Anyone else hear of a 620 pounder?

Can't wait to see the mount.

theres gonna be a story coming out in the kitsap paper about it. i'm glad my hunting partner got him but it was very tough for me to watch a trophy animal like that walk away.i was to much of a woosy to run into the scotch broom after him. i know i did the right thing by not shooting him,without having an absolute clear shot, i couldnt imagine wounding something that big.

Didn't Eric Ross shoot a similar sized bear last season on the East side near the Clock?  I'm fairly certain his bear went over 21" as well.

That is one hell of a bear..........

I bought my "Lab Pup" from his wife. She showed me the pictuers and an i got to shake his hand. That is one hell of a bear.

Oh and tell him the pup is great. the fanily loves him and is learning quickly.......
