Question - on upgrade to new bow

At what point do you throw in the towel and just buy a new bow?  If it's a matter of money lets pretend that's not an issue. What would you buy and why? I like my PSE but i don't "LOVE" it hope that makes sense.

Note- I am still very new to bow hunting. only hunted last season and this year have only shoot a few times because the bow was in the shop for a long time.

If you shoot your bow well there are only 2 reasons to get a new bow. You broke the old one or you just want a new one. The first option is probably not that likely. The second one is what keeps bow companies in business. I say if you want a new one go for it, you dont need any other reason than that.

For someone relatively new to the sport, and money not an issue, you don't want to look at the higHest performance, ie:speed. Look more for the smoothest draw, a fair IBO speed, and shootqbIlity. This rest,s a lot on the fit and feel of the bow. They all can shoot. Personally, I feel the Mathews Creed has the best of all these features. Large Idler for a forgiving string angle, smooth draw and not abrasive on the rollover, an important feature, especially for a hunting bow. Imho

I actually looked into the creed before i bought this bow, the local dealer though was an absolute deal breaker - one of the worst shopping experiences I ever had. They wouldn't even let me shoot it, I swear he thought I was some punk kid with out any money just wanting to joy ride. looks like I will have to go up north or out of state to find a dealer to shoot one. for me because I have a shoulder injury too i have to have something light weight. I shoot this pse with out the quiver just because the extra weight with loaded quiver is hard to do over and over again, but as time goes on and my injury gets better i feel my strength coming back. Thank you for the recommendations

I have had great luck and service from Greg at Whitetails Plus in Deer Park. I don't know if he carries Mathews though. He seems to carry more PSE and Diamond/Bowtech.

it's good to hear where to go for quality products and good customer service - and that know's what they are talking about. Whitetails plus huh, that's the 2nd time someone said to go there from this forum, looks like I have to unload this bow and get to whitetails plus soon.

Do you ever get to Wenatchee? Or even Moses lake? I run High Mountain in Wenatchee, and am a Mathews dealer. Would love to get you some range time behind the Creed. You definetly need to shoot it to feel the benefits I listed above! Am very sorry you had such a bad experience at the other shop..puts a black eye on the rest of us, but be sure, that is not the norm..many awesome pro shops out there as some have recommended already! Let me know if you are ever in this neck of the woods and I will personally get you some time behind this model!

I know what you mean, it's changing so much it's like computers , every other month some new video card upgrade come's out.

I love that most are going to lighter weight materials like carbon, now if we can get a full titanium riser that would be jaw dropping. 

I would like to know how the bow tech , carbon knight  feels too, weighing in at 3 lbs I can't even imagine @ 60lbs draw would feel like
