Heard a lot of bears around me, even one huffing over and over but between the fog and bears possibly winding me have not see much but a sow with cubs and lots of deer, oh and one moutain beaver :chuckle:

Went for an afternoon stroll with h20hunter after work yesterday. We didn't see or hear any bears. We did however scare up a ton of grouse and I found a toilet in a stump. Find of the century I tell ya! Also learned a valuable lesson. If you offer up bug spray, be sure to use it yourself after its handed back. Don't be a dumbie and put it back in the truck. While we were sitting watching a clearcut, h20 was enjoying the scenery, and playing on his phone while I was engaged in a battle of wits and karate chops against mosquitos. Id like to say I won, but I'd hate to be called a liar....

I have yet to see a bear this season but still awesome to be out.  I've taken some cool cell phone pics so far this season.

I was up on Jacks Pass last week. Sat all day and didn't see anything. Didn't even see fresh sign. Not sure they are up high yet but maybe I was just up there on the wrong day. I know they are moving through that area. I've just been off on their 3 day cycle.
