Here is the back story of my bear.
Got up early and to the trail at 5:45, it was foggier than willy nelson's tour bus and raining. I was a little disappointed because there was already 3 trucks at the gate. On the way up there was scat everywhere like always. Couldn't see much because of the fog, tried hunting from a slash pile. Decided to check a small bowl that has produced in the past for a few hours, nothing. Finally decided to head through the brush into the tree line. Was only there for about 5 minutes and heard a small tree shake from behind where I entered. I watched it for a minute and didn't see anything. I turned around and there he was walking straight towards me 20 feet away. Needless to say I was surprised(scared) and proceeded to unload my magazine of 180grains. He was hit and circled around me and eventually died under two downed logs. It was a very fun hunt. I have some more pics.
