I like it...its so different from my other mounts and the typical fall cape bucks

I really like the velvet look, he looks just like he did in your field pictures.  What day of September did you whack him?

I am glad that the cape turned out so well.  Very unique with the summer cape as you said.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Sept 6th I believe..fur on cape had just started to turn into fall mode as the guard hairs were in and out of that summer coat. He has some scars..there one under neck and chest..pretty large. The red on antlers isnt as bright as photos show..flash made it out that way.

Taxi took some outdoor photos of the buck...Ill put those up when I see them. He looks nice next to my trifecta of big WA bucks :chuckle:

I have the whole hunt on film too and its looking like its not going to get used for TV now as things fell thru
