They're good snakes, now.
« on: August 03, 2013, 04:58:58 PM »
Found these two rattlers in my rock wall next to my house two days apart.  One when I was bending down to pull a weed and he rattled about 4 feet from my face!  I had walked by him twice without seeing him or him rattling at me.  It's a wonder my Lab didn't find one and get bit.  They're good snakes now!

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

They really are "good snakes"; and no, I didn't eat them, don't care how good they may taste!
