Big Fish
« on: August 04, 2013, 08:43:26 AM »

My wife and I had a chance to get away by ourselves and she was on fire. On the way to Sekiu I couldn't resist stopping in area 9 and she jigged up this one below.

Fishing wasn't hot in area 5 but we got into some good tide exchange bites and landed some really nice fish, released several including one pushing 30, lots of humpies and a couple silvers.

She nailed this one below yesterday as we were wrapping it up.

You have quite the fishing partner there! I'd say she's a keeper.

Funny story she doesn't mind me sharing (no pics). We hook up a small king and I'm trying to release it over the side when the other rod goes off and starts screaming. I let go and grab the big fish and I'm telling her to unhook the fish and reel up the down rigger. I look back and all she has on is her bra. I'm like WTF this is getting good. Evidently in the panick she hooked her sweatshirt and instead of getting it out she just took it off so she could hurry and get all the other gear up. She fought the fish that way and it ended up being a big wild. I tried to convince her to stay that way but she wasn't going for it. We laughed about that for quite awhile.  :chuckle:
