there is a little rod and tackle shop about 1/2 a mile down from the river on freeman rd. . You should stop in there and talk to Raliegh really nice guy and he will help ya out on pretty much anything ya need :tup:

I still can't figure out what guys are thinking when they say color matters on the Puy.

-6" of vis. Color dont matter. Lol
6 inches would be extremely generous; <1 inch imo = basically opaque water

Any corky (or no corky), good sized hook, long leader, and cannon ball.  Floss away and make sure to yell "it's in the mouth!" everytime you get a fish anywhere near the bank!
When leader length is the only factor, you know something is funny. It is a great opportunity for the masses to harvest salmon, though.

I hear this every other year when the pinks come through.

Two years ago I caught two silvers in about 15 minutes, both swallowed the corky and yarn. No side of the mouth hook.

Yes there are allot of "flossing" catches, but there are also allot of legitimate takes.

1/6 so far today. Got a decent pink in the cooler. Slowed down around noon though when It heated up.
