Remote Muley Cam 2013
« on: August 05, 2013, 05:33:59 PM »
I've always wondered what kind of pics I could get from a remote high country location I've passed through a few times while hiking over the years. I assumed I would not get a lot of pics but could possibly get a dandy. I was wrong about the number of pics. The camera was mounted on June 22nd and it stopped taking pics due to dead batteries sometime in mid July at pic 7380  :yike:. I just retrieved the camera on Saturday (8/3). This location is a natural saddle pathway about 6.5 miles in from the nearest road and 6800' elevation. It's going to take me several days to get through all the pics but here is the start.

:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

It's going pretty fast, I had the camera on 4-shot burst with 30 sec intervals so I have lots of repeat pics.
