That's a shame, I really liked Safeway.  I usually stop in there a couple times a year while hunting turkeys in ........ northeastern Washington.

FIREARM RESTRICTED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY MEANS NO HIGH POWER RIFLES IN THAT AREA. If you see someone Not observing the rules than say something this is how these types of spots get shut down. I don't hunt there but would hate to see any open area get shut down b/c of ignorance.

berries were out hard around my areas, gone already in some the ground boysenberries, salmon berries, etc. over east i ate lots of blue berries up to 3500 foot in el 3 weeks ago. mt baker and all of the state has bears. um well like 30 plus thousand bears.
