Anyone hear of any good elk news in this area,  has it been crowded in the past.  Heading that way this weekend thinking about hunting this spike only area.  Any advice or direction about the hunting land surrounding Yakima would help.

Well I heard that the snow level was going to be pretty low on friday :dunno:. So that would help drive them out of the high country. The area I hunt can be pretty crowded but you just have to use that to your advantage. I know the area up cowiche and reynolds creek pretty well and I would suggest you look into one of those areas. Just make sure you are on public ground. If the weather stays cold like this it could be pretty good bt monday or tuesday. :twocents:.
