I cut several sets of elk tracks among a bunch of cattle tracks, three weeks or so ago.

Buglin,

Were you looking at property in or near the timber close to where they are paving the Waterville side of the rd? On the East Wenatchee/ River side?

I've seen elk tracks several times on Badger Mt., moose once.  There was a credible report of two wolves east of Rocky Reach dam on Badger Mt. last fall.  NOT verified, but credible.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

The upcurled tail suggests the animal in the picture is not a wolf.

Yes if you come in from waterville, just pass the ski resort you take a right and head into the timber like 5 miles or so out toward the edge of the bluffs. We have property down in orondo and saw some property on craigslist and wanted to check it out. I believe you head out toward black rock road. or something like that.

Last summer me and my wife were hiking up there early one morning and saw what I thought was a huge ass coyote but the longer we looked at it through the binos I could have sworn it was a wolf.. That last pic looks exaclty like the one we saw. Told a few friends I swear I saw a wolf but they all laughed..tsk tsk tsk.

The Moose have been around here and there for years. As for the other two pics, I am not a expert in wolves. I have seen plenty of them in my youth in Alaska but that was many years ago. I can't make a positive ID from the photos, that's why I posted them. But all common sense tells me if there are wolves around, you would hear them.

I make many trips back into the property from the state and federal land we border after dark and I have never heard any. Then again, I have cut many cougar tracks over the years on Badger and I have yet to hear a scream or a mating call. I have seen two big cats though, one laying in the road panting and the other flat hauling hindend across a wheat field.

??????? :dunno:

Yes, definetly wolves up there, he'll, they running the wheat fields below. That is a big dog in the pic, but is that,  a dog. Does not look like a wolf, low in the belly and more male mute then anything..Hybrid?
