I have to modify my stand.

I'm calling it an 0X0 with 4 eye guards per side, because technically any of those points could protect his eyes.

That'd be a true spike

No.  See that's why I call it a 0X0.   A true spike would be like a 3X3 with eye guards......

The next 6pt bull I see I'll call it a 4pt with brows....

That is exactly what everyone I hunt with would call it. Guess it's just a regional thing  :dunno:. Take the bull in my avitar for example. We all called it a 4 point (you would call it a 6x6). Like I said before, I don't think it's a big deal. People are just brought up differently there is no right or wrong. Just my  :twocents:.

I think you can get away with it in the whitetail world.  Do that in the muley world and you will get laughed right out of camp or the bar or the video shelf, or ........

Give him about 3 more years and you could have an incredible creature.  You may never see him again, but he would be incredible.   Neat genetics

ID be willing to bet that buck doesn't get much bigger than that in years to come. Maybe a few inches and then he will go downhill. Ive spent way to much time keeping tabs on 4pt bucks that never get much bigger . Usually I find a stud 4 and think oh what next year he will be and they get smaller most of the time. I only know that cause I use trail cams  :chuckle:

Ok,

After much thought and discussion from all you friendly folks Ihave decided to name him....
"3+1"  It just kinda roles off the tongue!

So here is a update on 3+1...
Checked a couple cameras and got this one picture of him this morning about 400 yards from the first pics. He was far from the camera sneaking down a trail, but i think I got another piece to the puzzle put together.

Nice 3 point!  :chuckle:

Thats how wa bucks are recognized whitetail or not... :chuckle:

Not according to B&C, P&Y, and WDFG  :chuckle:

Speaking of B&C/P&Y.  What are you guessing for score?  And I'm sure this will start another debate and make the thread title longer.  150's?

Super 3, but he's definately not a 150".  Weak brows and no real mass.  Great beams and nice tines though.  16" at best inside is my guess.  Put a G4 on him then maybe. :twocents:

To me thats an 8 pointer, on a WT brow tines are implied unless told otherwise.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.
