The nocks will say on the package which arrows they fit. I'd suggest looking at luminocks or the nockturnals.

For nockturnal's you want "Nockturnal-S", those are matched to your arrows.

TGB tail nocks fit most 5/16 shafts, work great and are only $50 a dozen. As soon as they make them for the X nocks thats all Ill shoot. For now I been using Luminocks and an am happy with them.

Can more easily and quickly determine if shot was good, but I think more importantly makes it easier to locate arrow. Saving the cost and damage of a lost arrow.

Definitely helps you see your shot with the speed bows.  They have becomes so fast you can't watch the arrow travel and hit it's mark under certain light conditions.  My elk I shot last year blew right threw and I know where I was aiming, but couldn't tell if it was spot on.  I quickly shot the bull a second time and he dropped quickly.  When I walked up on the bull, I was slightly low.  Had I not followed up with a second shot or moved in to quickly without knowing the shot was low, I could have pushed the bull and made a difficult track for myself.

Important to know where the arrow connected.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Shot my mule deer Sunday.  Saw the shot right to impact.  Was able to find arrow even thoughis was buried in the grass and the sun was set.

That's why you bring spare un-lighted nocks incase that record bull walks out. If you care about that kinda thing that is.

Are you telling me that if you shoot a trophy animal with an arrow that has a lighted knock it isn't counted?  :dunno:

I've never heard that before, unless you're jerking my chain  :dunno:

Its a piece of electronic equipment. It would make your p&y null and void. Its traditional kinda stuff.

They will change the rule on lighted nocks soon enough, just like they did Letoff and then you will just have to have a astrix beside you name.

Pope and young is becoming out dated and more and more hunters aren't entering bucks because of it.. A record book should be about the animal not about how "elite" the hunter is! :twocents:

To me it's enough that my buddies and I know if I shoot a good buck. I don't need to have it put in a book that nobody really pays any attention to. I think it's called over compensating for something.  :twocents:
