Shot my mule deer Sunday.  Saw the shot right to impact.  Was able to find arrow even thoughis was buried in the grass and the sun was set.

every one of my hunting arrows will have nocturnals next season they are so cool in mid light and will defiantly help in making a dession wether or not to track a animal or wait . plus they are a hoot to shoot in camp at night ( not that I would know )

That's why you bring spare un-lighted nocks incase that record bull walks out. If you care about that kinda thing that is.

Its a piece of electronic equipment. It would make your p&y null and void. Its traditional kinda stuff.

nocturnals... they are the best and you wont be dissapoint.. just take and arrow down to a store or look at which one will fit your arrow brand... i shoot Victory VForce V3 350's so i looked and saw witch Nocturnal fits Victory arrows and bought em...

They will change the rule on lighted nocks soon enough, just like they did Letoff and then you will just have to have a astrix beside you name.

Pope and young is becoming out dated and more and more hunters aren't entering bucks because of it.. A record book should be about the animal not about how "elite" the hunter is! :twocents:

To me it's enough that my buddies and I know if I shoot a good buck. I don't need to have it put in a book that nobody really pays any attention to. I think it's called over compensating for something.  :twocents:
