Gut pile & sign

Have a quick question so I returned to a gut pile of the bear we took out Tuesday evening And saw this sign all over the guy pile , is it "baiting " to hunt the areas of a gut pile ? How's that all work don't wanna get popped for baiting over sonthing so dumb ... BUT good to see what could be possible multiple bears from the looks of all the scat in the area

If you move the gut pile for hunting purposes.....it is baiting.

If you return to a gut pile that was left as is....it is not baiting.

That is how I understand it.

Well it use to be 10 years ago when I started hunting up there.

All that purple stuff is what's left of the berries from that bears stomach.  Birds and yotes have probably torn everything up in one day or n right.

that pic of the bear was a give a way to me I know that spot well. no bear up there must of been a hermit bear he shot.  did see my first lynx out that way years ago lots of cats in the hills up there

all and one more thing ..if you want to find out if that's kitty poop ...go and buy a bag of cat litter and place it about 10 feet away from that pile of poop ....all cats act them same

it was no secret before that either lol, look back its discussed every year lol. pssssts my baker has bears  its a secret.

returned to a KNOWN gut pile is listed as illegal bait according to WDFW, just and FYI, this was discussed extensively last year until a wdfw gamie weighed in on the topic. youv been warned.

the first picture ' the black stuff ' is the left over intestines just black and left over not eaten , the pink scat around the pile is gotta be bear scat ?? i think yall thaught the black long intestines is what i took the pic of , thats the rotten gut pile . if ya look at it theres pink berrie filled scat all over the gut pile

I gotcha, that makes sense. I would say all the pink stuff is definitley scat but i think it came from your bears stomach after the birds and yotes got to it.

I talked to a fish and wildlife enforcement officer about this very topic two weeks ago- don't do it.  It is baiting if u know the gut pile is there and your hunting over it

There is no poo in that picture.  100% left over guts. I'd bet my children on it.
