We have sure loved our new fire pit!
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

6 foot is a little bigger than I'm willing to do. I'm limited on my material and that would use up to much. I've decided 4 foot is the biggest I can make. Sorry man.

How about the wheel around one???     Any progress with that idea?  And wheels on an axle that simple come off so the fire doesn't melt would work.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

So I just built one that has wheels. They are metal wheels that a guy ordered himself. Im going to wait and see how it works before I build another just in case it needs to be modified. I'll let you know how it works out trophyhunt. It has 3 legs like the normal pits with a bottom, but 2 of the legs are shorter with bolt pads that match the wheels. i made 2 handles that slide over the edge of the pit and bind when you pick it up. then you just push it around like a wheel barrow. At least thats the theory anyway.

Curious has anyone ever used a Gas flame in one of these?  Thinking it would be cool with Gas on the concrete patio where I don't want to have a big mess.  Then can take it out to camp or in the yard when I want a wood fire.

In God we trust, all others bring cash.

Do not say, Why were the old days better than these? For it is not wise to ask such questions.

Another satisfied customer... Haven't even started a fire yet  :chuckle:
Super happy the way it turned out and Eric was very accommodating... I was set on a pit with wheels because I don't want any stains on the concrete. My wife designed some of the pictures, we went oversize and most importantly... she likes it.  :)
