Fukishima radioactive isotopes!
« on: August 10, 2013, 12:35:41 PM »
Is our NW food supply contaminated with radioactive fallout from the Fukishima reactors meltdown. WDFW has been silent on this.
I dont think we should be consuming anything coming out of the Pacific ocean today, especially shellfish. Is hoof rot directly tied to radiation poisoning? Are deer and elk safe to consume? What about berries and mushrooms? Are we not being advised and warned about a health threat? I would'nt be feeding my kids any local NW dairy products either.

why today out of all days?  What source is this coming from?  I have pots in the water and now you have me worried.

Sounds like someone has been spending too much time on the other side of the river!

Notice all the "Keep Portland Weird" bumper stickers down there  :tinfoil:  They're a special kind of crazy lib factory down there!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I watched from day one as CNN and other "news" agencies cheered and hoorahed that the radiation was blowing directly at us instead of at the red commies.
If this is the first inclination of radiation coming straight at us from Japan, you need to think about your world a little more often. And yes its in the grass, air, water, etc....our milk has shown alarming levels.
I LOVE sushi and Japanese food, as soon as day one of fukushima I quit buying imported food from Japan.... After Chernobyl happened, Europeans mostly drank imported milk for years.
Ive mostly been using costco organic rice milk and drinking water from deep underground.

Is there more radiation in the sound than ever? You bet
Am I going Humpy fishing tonight? You bet....cant let everything ruin a good time

Hey atleast you dont have foreigners in your country shooting DU all over the place until you fight back with whatever you got... :dunno:

and

and

but dont worry "trace amounts of radiation are nothing to worry about"

Go find you a RIID and head on down to the local dairy and take a sample from the milk tanks.

I found the part about "Remember that Denver has a lower cancer rate than the rest of the U.S., not a higher one." To be quite interesting.  And we are seeing nowhere near the levels found in Denver.  In fact, most of Japan is not seeing the levels found in Denver!  I'm not ready to quit drinking milk, give up eating seafood, removing minerals in my drinking water through reverse osmosis, or wearing my tinfoil hat quite yet.

:yeah: So what are we all supposed to do? Hide in our homes, line the windows with foil. And never go outside and do anything fun again. Why cause your afraid.  :dunno: Not me, I am going to continue to enjoy life as long as I am able to live it. I am probably more likely to die driving to my hunting spot than I am from eating my deer.

If you're depending on your deer, there's a good chance you'll starve before the radiation get you!  :chuckle: :chuckle: j/k

So based on this article us west coast people are all going to die from cancer! We should not eat pretty much anyting, and we cant drink anything. seems like a lost cause anyway so i'm going to go drink a nice glass of PNW milk. Dumb article written by a whacko who must be rich enough to have all his food flown in from the east coast. You know, cause there is no polution over there.

Probably get more radiation going up in the mountains to hunt than from Japan.
