Private hunting land access please
« on: August 11, 2013, 03:03:05 AM »
Looking to maybe hunt someones private land during late archery.  I am in the military and it is tough for me to scout when i am gone all the time.. this is the second time i would have missed the entire season for hunting again with the exception of Late Archery.  i am located in whidbey island i usually hunt the base, but by the time i get out there all the deer have been pressured or they moved out of the woods and went to the schools. I am willing to drive some distance and i have all the gear i need and i will be super respectful of the property and keepy my mouth shut!   So any help would be great.   Also i will be here all next year, but i would really like to take me a nice deer this year to have some good venison for me and my wife, for Christmas.  Thanks all.
So please help me out if ya can.

I have several spots that are private land in the 624. These areas are meat hunts and in the late season your most likely to only get a Doe. I won't post all the details so PM me if your interested. I will be hunting Elk early season so those 2 weeks are unavailable, but I will be taking my son out on opening day. That is just about the best day to fill your tag. Scouting in not necessary and usually can have a deer down 30 min after dawn. Will have a second tag for that area and will be doing a Christmas hunt sometime after the 15th of Dec.
