Bouy 10 Kings
« on: August 11, 2013, 07:30:25 PM »
We caught these two, one 19 lbs and the 29 lbs, just above the Astoria bridge at high slack tide. Caught one jack and lost a nice buck at the boat. Canon ball sinker got caught in the net and he snapped the 30 lb main line. He was in between the two that we got in the boat. Kind of slow. Saw 7-10 others caught. Also ended up with 5 keeper dungeness for dinner.

We spent the day out with Pacific Salmon Charters.
15 on the boat. 13 kings and 2 coho.
Slow day. Hard fought battles. Great ocean.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!

B10 goes marked selective fishery tomorrow. Only adipose and left vent clipped fish can be retained.
