Nice WA moose
« on: August 12, 2013, 03:29:48 PM »
I was checking trail cameras over the weekend and stumbled on this bull, sadly I only had my cell phone with me so the pictures kinda suck.

When I got to my trail camera though I had a bunch of video of him on my trail camera.
These are stills off the video so the quality also isnt great

Thats an awesome moose for Washington.

Could you do me a favor and send him headed East across the N Idaho border?  After all, I'd hate for him to screw up any of your whitetail setups  :chuckle:

Is this bull in 204? I hunt west of Republic and have seen a few moose, but not many. Maybe I should start putting in the OIL tags for the next 25+ years and try a tag. HaHa!

Thats an awesome moose for Washington.

Dude,  Washington has the second largest Shiras Moose in the country.  At least thats what B&C says..  We got monster bulls.

I personally handled and helped cape a shiras moose in 2003 from 49 unit that was scored by the taxi I was working with over 190" B&C  old asian man drew that tag..never heard of it again.

I have no doubt theres more than 1 world record shiras in WA...Ive seen 3 absolute giant bulls..bigger than anything I have ever seen harvested. 1 was in the Huck unit and moose season was open! and it was standing on a hillside 100 yards away. 58-62" wide quad brows

I really don't like how B and C judge moose.    The system is ripe for a smaller bull to rank way higher than a bigger bull.  I wish I had a tag now versus 10 years ago.
