Fly fishing chest pack for hunting?
« on: August 12, 2013, 11:27:41 PM »
Ok gang, I'm in the market for a new hunting pack, I'm an active hunter and need something compact, stealthy. I stumbled upon the William Joseph Confluence chest pack. now I know its made for fishing....but it looks like it would be very comfy and work great for my minimalist style of hunting. Does anybody have one? and if so can you fit a pair of 10x42 binos in the front pocket? appreciate and words of wisdom. -Flizz

Interesting idea.  I got a turkey vest when I started predator hunting and now I wear it every time I go hunting.  Just so handy to have most of my small gear accessible without having to remove my day pack.  Freed up a lot of space in my pack I am able to use a smaller pack now.

I dont think I would like the bulk of this pack on my chest though.

Hill People Gear out of Colorado makes several sizes of chest packs that are quite popular with some folks.
