Shot my mule deer Sunday.  Saw the shot right to impact.  Was able to find arrow even thoughis was buried in the grass and the sun was set.

That's why you bring spare un-lighted nocks incase that record bull walks out. If you care about that kinda thing that is.

Are you telling me that if you shoot a trophy animal with an arrow that has a lighted knock it isn't counted?  :dunno:

I've never heard that before, unless you're jerking my chain  :dunno:

Its a piece of electronic equipment. It would make your p&y null and void. Its traditional kinda stuff.

They will change the rule on lighted nocks soon enough, just like they did Letoff and then you will just have to have a astrix beside you name.

Pope and young is becoming out dated and more and more hunters aren't entering bucks because of it.. A record book should be about the animal not about how "elite" the hunter is! :twocents:

To me it's enough that my buddies and I know if I shoot a good buck. I don't need to have it put in a book that nobody really pays any attention to. I think it's called over compensating for something.  :twocents:
