Wow.  I have shot/hunted with a Martin bow for 30 years and I Just got my second Bow  last May I'm looking forward to hunting with it this year.   I had a Martin Lynx had the limbs replaced twice on it over the years and I had the oversized cams put on it when I bought it, I used to shoot at 100 pounds with it.  Then I tore the rotor in my shoulder and could not turn the bow down past 70 pounds So I got a new one.  Shooting 55 pounds now and I love it.  I know there may be better bows on the market but I have killed over 40 animals with that old bow.  I hope who ever buys them out contiunes to make a good product.

i'd still like to see some documentation on that.  i can't find anything credible on the internet.  only hearsay.  no court reports come up anywhere.

I heard Bushnell bought then out when they bought goldtip. And for those who don't know, Gail Martin died last month.

We were fortunate to have Gail Martin stay here at the Lodge a couple times along with his son Dan & wife and Gail's wife Eva.  Very classy man. I know he is in the big Hunting Ground in the sky. Boy , the stories he told....................................RIP Gail :'(

The only facts I could offer was Gail's passing, the rest was speculation. I only hope as a martin owner/shooter the company lives on.

Long talk with Terry this evening.  Nothing is done yet!  Steve at Limbsaver was pretty excited about it, but no deal has been reached.  Little boy Reali is still talking with them as are a few others.  Not a lot of time to get things done, but there is still hope of it being saved.  Don't count RAD out completely yet  ;)  ;)

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I remember the first day I went to the range with my emerald green risered Cougar Magnum.  Everyone out there shooting their Bear Whitetail hunters just looked in amazement.  Even the guys with Jennings had to stop and take a look.  And fast!!!  I think those 2117 Autumn Orange shafts were screaming at least 225 fps  :IBCOOL:  Most everyone was saying they wanted one, but the $295.00 price tag was just too steep for most everyone to consider it :chuckle:
