How much $$$ to keep this going?  Maybe time to start a hunt wa LLC.  It would be a shame to see this company disappear.

Would be a shame indeed!

If each of the 14,581 H-W members each wrote me a check for $100  :dunno:  That would come close to buying the building anyway.  It's a start :chuckle:  That would give members of the "H-W/Martin Real Estate Investment Group" a dividend check of about $10.00 at the end of each year   Assuming we had a tenant of course.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

If you would have promised the SBA a 10% return on an archery company, they would have laughed you out of the building.  :chuckle:  Or maybe that's what you did?  :chuckle:

Funny Todd >:(

Maybe we should have the wife apply as a disabled minority woman :chuckle:  She could be considered disabled if she chose to be!  Though from what I understand being 50% Native American means nothing to the SBA.  In their eyes I expect she is a middle aged white woman of dark complexion with poor eyesight.  Even her native Creek relatives won't recognize her as a part of the family.

In all seriousness we haven't and would never ask for any special treatment.  Heck, we even refuse to use the tax breaks it would offer us if she were to choose such a label.  Wouldn't be right if we were getting some sort of special treatment just because of her skin color, eye sight and/or family struggles.  All we would like to do is borrow off the value of what we ourselves have worked for.  A strong company history of constant growth, the largest business of our kind in the world, run at absolute zero debt and with a very strong market value.  Combine that with Martin Archery...A company that ran with similar history for nearly 60 years!  Ten years ago that combined history would have been more than enough for lenders to take interest.  Now?  Not so much!

I have made mistakes in this process, but we remain positive.  We have to!  We are not without our strengths and the fat lady hasn't finished singing yet.  As long as there is one more tick of the clock we have an opportunity.  Just need to have faith...and a solid business plan ;)

At this point I just want to see someone save the legacy and the tradition of Martin Archery and bow manufacturing in Washington state.  Doesn't have to be my company for me to be happy.  Just want it revived in a positive way.  Too much tradition lost and too many good people out of work if something doesn't happen soon.  That would be a dang shame!

this is the closest evidence i've seen that the whole thing is going away.  we all know Martin the business is for sale, but to sell the building itself without the business...

This is a little off topic but for my general education I've been trying to figure out the name of your company for some time now, RadSav.  Sounds like a lot of people know but I'm not one of them.  Care to share? :hello:

Radical Archery Designs, Inc.  Plus launching in 2014 will be the New Savora Archery.

And with any luck Martin Archery/Damon Howatt  will be a division of RAD, Inc. in 2014 ;)  In process now of trying to secure the Martin Real Estate.
