Well maybe the "Jr" classification would need to be applied to the D-Rock :tung:   D-Rock Jr - Big performance for height challenged shooters!

:sry:  I've been talking with bankers, lawyers and accountants all day.  Think I'm going a little looney tunes.

I have been a Staff Shooter for Martin for two years.  In my opinion their bows are right there with the best out there (they just don't spend enough money in advertising to let people know).  My 2013 Nemesis 35 is fast, quiet, accurate and tuned easy.  I hope they can work something out and I would continue to support whatever company they become.

In my opinion though they have to get back the support of the proshops.  The big box store approach will never work in the archery industry :twocents:  Come on RadSav or Sims, I'm pulling for you.

Martin has been a part of my family for years. I still have my dads cougar which still shoots straight but its a little slow by todays 300fps bows

You also would have to get Uncle Ted back on board. It's just not right seeing him shoot a Mathews.

It's not right seeing anyone shooting a Mathews :chuckle:

I would be thrilled to see Ted back with Martin.  But if he does another reality show...deals off! >:(

eh.  you'd be better off with either a young up and comer (lookin at you Alwine!  :chuckle:)or a current hot shot (Cameron, Eichler, etc...)

Alwine
Would have to raise the price of each Martin bow about $250 each to afford Cameron and Eichler!  Well, I guess that would put us right there with Hoyt though, wouldn't it :chuckle:

How about a D-Rock Express, a Smossy Kinetic Extreme, a Huntnnw Special, a Boneaddict longbow or even a Bearpaw Jr   :chuckle:
 They sound like quality items.

While we wait for the conclusion I figure I would use this thread to ask a few questions:

What was your favorite Martin bow ever?
And what was your favorite Martin cam?

My favorite bow was the forward handled Jim Cox Dynabow.  Though the Forward handled Jaguar was super cool!
Favorite cam was the 2009 M2-Pro single.

Its all part of the legacy ...everything has to come to an end ...That's to bad ,, Martin has played its part in the archery industry for sure ..Funny thing is I never owned one  :chuckle: But I could remember all the bow shops back in the late 80s and 90s were sure trying to push them ... And for( Curly) It does not matter what type of bow you have ....Just practice and get as good as you can with it and your be just fine ... I know I could still take out my recurve or my old Bear bow and do the same thing I can do with my Mathews ...they may not be as fast but they will still do the job !!! I am almost thinking recurve this year ....Compound is just getting to easy  :chuckle:  Must of the things I kill are within feet of me anyways So I just as well may go back to recurve ...

Got an email a few hours ago that says there are some deals that are close, just not yet done.  And like I said before we are not alone.  There are others trying to save this thing besides RAD.  I have no idea who some of these folks are, but it is promising.  Keep your fingers crossed that whomever it may be has honesty, integrity and can keep it right here in Washington!

There is one group I am rooting against in a BIG way.  No honesty, no integrity, no value of history and no quality of character.  Beyond that most that I know of are good folks.  Things should be happening quick!

My favorite martin so far is my exile I bought last year, it also has my favorite cam the fury xt single cam. My accuracy improved so much with this bow. I went from shooting 12" groups at 70yrds down to 7-8".

That was a good one...

I actually started with a Martin Bobcat kit bow that I put together myself. Managed to kill a few grouse and one deer with it before stepping up.

I wish Radsav the best with this venture, or Sims. It would be a sad day to loose that company. Ive been with Martin for 15+ years and they've been great to be a part of. Shot or owned almost every bow in that time period. Favorite bows....My Scepter was awesome for target and tournament shooting, Fury was a great hunting bow, and my new Alien is awesome!
