I've got some public land we're going to be hoofing over, but I'd also thought I'd put out feelers for potential private land options. (We live on some pretty good property for hunting, however our landlord has asked that we don't hunt here, so we don't.)
We're a family of 3 looking to put meat on the table and antlers are secondary (although they make for a nice momento/conversation piece.)
Dad hunts modern firearm
Mom hunts archery
9yr old son hunts modern firearm while being closely supervised. (We are excessively safety conscious.)
We hunt both elk and deer.
We're willing to work out potential deals in terms of " sharing meat for access" if that sort of thing appeals to you.
