Yep you will be fine, and by staying below 18 it is much easier hiking as your are south or traveling down, if you hike north it is much harder because you will be hiking up..

By hiking up, do you mean north facing slopes?

Yep you will be fine, and by staying below 18 it is much easier hiking as your are south or traveling down, if you hike north it is much harder because you will be hiking up..

Correct, and if you access them from the westside it may be wet and raining but if you access them from the eastside it should be much drier. Remember though you can only access them from the eastside via places you have lived etc....yankee go home..
