Bears and gut piles
« on: August 13, 2013, 06:54:51 PM »
Just looking for thoughts on this one. If you shoot and retrieve a bear in a canyon, will other bears avoid that spot for awhile or will the gut pile attract more bears? Just asking because when I've taken coyotes in a spot it seems they avoid like the plaque for awhile.

We had a bear take over a bear ...we went and got the truck and had a 1 PO bear trying to defend it as his. Tried to scare it off, fired a pistol in the ground nothing! My dad ended up taking it with his bow.
