Concern noted. I’ll gladly discuss any details with the perspective mate’s owner via PM.
Thanks again for your concern. You’ve politely told me that amateurs should leave breeding to professionals and I’ve politely told you to butt out. But you do have a point about Lee & Tellus, although that’s public record, consider it removed.
Just for clarification: Tellus is the breeder. The dog was actually purchased from David Squires. He (the dog) was advertised on my website as a favor to Dave. I was there and showed a dog I owned (Golden Ret) and Dave showed him Toby. Toby was a nice boy then and probably (from what I infer here) is still a nice boy. As far as looking for a mate, that's always difficult when you have a male you want to breed. It pretty much rests in the hands of the bitch owners. Your best bet would be to ask (or let) folks you hunt with know that you are interested in getting a puppy from him. WRL

I’m sorry if this post gave you any cause for concern. I have the greatest respect for you and your operation and I highly recommend WRL to anyone who will listen. I did not list WRL as involved in the breeding and in retrospect, shouldn’t have mentioned it all. Again, my apologies for doing so.
