My Britt tree'd a bear today
« on: August 17, 2013, 08:01:52 PM »
It was funny to see this little dog thinking she was a hound.

Worked the bear pretty good too,  darted away at the right times but never let up.  I was suprised, hell I'd almost turn her loose with a pack of hounds  :chuckle:

Bear was pretty small, maybe 150-200 lbs.

Sounds like by catch to me,it's legal pursuit season for birds, britts are a bird hunting dog, apparantly theres a walker in the woodpile.

Well, the bear was on her turf - in the front yard.

I can't hardly blame her  :chuckle:

Doesn't surprise me at all. Brits are one of the original versatile breeds, but Americans have bred them towards upland game dogs.  Mine will hunt rabbits, squirrels, deer, and pretty much anything else with fur if I let her.  Sometimes they even think they are ten feet fall and bullet proof!  ;-)
