i recently started using the tag bags, specifically the bomb bags and they're the perfect size for boned meat. lightweight. tough. easy to wash.
the kifaru meat baggie gets loaded with my food to organize for the trip in the filled then i put the tag bags in it to help keep my stuff clean on the trip out

Cool thread, I have lots of similarities on my list. I can't handle 9 straight days in the mountains so I usually only pack for 4-5 days, making my pack about 15 lbs lighter.

Are you washing clothes during the hunt?  On 4-day trips, I take socks and underwear like you:  one replacement set, and each set gets rotated each day. On the 10-day trip I'm about to leave on, I take more socks and underwear, but plan to wash them half way through the hunt. I've considered sticking to the 2-pair rotation theory and still washing half way through the hunt, but my hike in is short enough that I can easily carry an extra 2 pairs into base camp.  Just curious; considering changing my routine; not suggesting you change.

I considered Rokslide's kill kit, but I already had too many of its components to justify.  I do agree with their selection of products.

What material are you using? I noticed when I switched to Merino boxers, I didn't notice any smell after day three. I'll let you know if two was enough when I get back haha.

I'm not gonna lie here...I don't know how any man could go 3 days without his underwear smelling. Not sure how that's possible.

Good list.  I just got back from a nine day trip after day 3!  I was cursing the extra food I was packing out but I was smiling knowing my freezer was full.

I also get by on two pairs of merino boxers.  You can wash the first pair and they will be ready for the pack out.

If I'm done after day three, I'm probably spending a day or two sleeping in peace and quiet...

Well the wife is pregnant with twins so I couldn't afford to take the time but I hear you!  It would have been great to stay.
