just got back from scooting. sorry to say that the forest servers not lilting up in to rimrock , because of the firer. so went to bumping and did not see any good sign. but we did see three elk by bumping lake. hope for some rain.  :drool:

keeping my fingers crossed. We have 4 bull tags for this unit. One of the members in are hunting group has been waiting 12 years for a bull tag. And I'm trying to make sure he fills it.

Was all over Rimrock this weekend. Hardly closed with massive access still. Cant get into Conrad, but we came down the 1010 and fire crews had no problem with us up the 1000 road a ways.

BUT, all the bulls are in Conrad Meadows.  Fact - you all go there please :)
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Attached is a picture of the large fire above Conrad on Saturday morning.  I counted 9 individual fires,  They were pooring water all day Saturday.  By Sunday morning it looked like they had it much more under control.  Should be no issue by the 3rd based on what I saw. :tup:

thanx really glad to here that come on rain rain rain I wonder if the smoke willeffect the big bulls nose vaccum as to keeping them bedded down more or is it to our advantage
