Tikka T3 Lite Buttstock
« on: August 18, 2013, 07:43:51 PM »
I didn't want to jack the "Wife Greenlight" thread so I'm starting this new one here. My only real complaint with the Tikka is the hollow and loud sounding buttstock. Has anyone ever filled it to eliminate this issue. If so, what did you use as a filler and how did you do it?

:yeah:  Spray it in and put the recoil pad on and it is done.

You can also pick up a bell and Carlson stocks for about 250.00 it will give you a little better fit and feel then the strait tikka stock. You can also have them dipped and that seems to help a lot.

Buy a T3 but not a "Lite" . Same rifle, different stock. Problem solved.
