Here was my reply.

Dear Mike,

You are so far off base in your comments. Do you have statistics to back up your comment on confrontations ending up in shootings? I bet not.

The people that have firearms (not weapons as those are used by the military and criminals) are not the people you need to fear. You will turn Seattle in to another Chicago.

Think about it. It is illegal to own a firearm in Cook County. Yet they have the highest crime rate in the nation. Why? Because no one can defend their home or themselves.

You are very misguided and your socialist and liberal side are very exposed.

You are supposed to represent your people. Not control them.

Shame on you!!!

You and your type are a disgrace to the constitution.
We don't blame cars for drunk drivers......Why blame guns for violent people...

I bet the twin towers would still be standing if there were stickers on the windows warning that they were "terrorist free buildings" too.

The pinhead used Columbine as a example, I'm pretty sure it was a gun free zone as well, didn't work out so good did it.

I always seem to forget to leave my gun at home when I go into Gun Free Zones.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I'm surprised that ANY business would choose to move INTO Seattle. I know of Sever multi generational family businesses that employed many people that moved OUT of the city because of its stupidity.  :bash:

The sad thing Seth30, is he was just one "tool" in a box full of them that ran...

It is good to send a respectful message to Mayor Mike McGinn to let him know your views.

Please be respectful in all communications to our representatives.  Be sure to state facts if you have them.

Here is a good link to examples of citizens and business owners using firearms to prevent crimes:
