« on: August 21, 2013, 08:58:38 AM »
I need an all around gun!!

I have, 300 rum, 30-06, .22, .32 winchester..

I want something cheap to shoot, I will be shooting alot.

Coyotes, speedgoats, prairie dogs, those big coyotes. And so on

I wanna carry one gun at all times, what would you buy??
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

The Whiners suck!!

Probably a bolt action 30-06 with a 3-9 power scope. Thinking something with a synthetic stock that you don't mind getting beat around a little, and probably a leupold vx-II.

AR in 6.8 SPC, have to reload to make it cheap though, if you can find componenets.  Have fun looking for something new.

.223 or .22-250 if you want an everyday coyote gun.  I'd go .243 or .260/7-08 if you want something for coyotes, and good longer range speed goat or deer gun.

You might want to pick up a rimfire (22 mag or 17 HMR) for ground squirrels and other varmits.

Looking at what you already have I'd say a .223/5.56 would fit right in.  Or maybe a lever action 30/30 so you can play old west cowboy?  :)

Savage Weather Warrior model 116 chambered in .270 win.   (270 ammo should be easy to find and reasonably priced.)
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

A bolt action 243 would be perfect.

Now your just rubbing it in.  ;)   :chuckle:

Over and Under 243 - 20 guage.  Fits on the horse or in the truck nice and you can kill anything with it.
