Ask BigLuke...  He'll set you straight     :chuckle:

Buckle up.  This'll be a 12 page thread in no time.
What do I do with a coyote after I kill it?  If it's between November and February, I skin it.  If it's not, I do nothing with it.

I hope not.  This one went 13pages. http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,126303.0/topicseen.html
If you really want to know, scan threw that ^ tread.. Some really great answers in there.   Lets try and keep this one civil.

I myself only shoot them from Nov1-Feb 28, when there hide is good. Then give them to a friend that preps & sells the hides.
I don't know how I missed that thread.  Wow, BigLuke really stepped into it in that thread. :o
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

If its winter time and the pelt is nice I skin them and hang it on my garage. If the pelt is not nice I hang it on the nearest fence preferably facing a road to brag to my buddies.

Ya think?  Yeah I just went and re-read it but I refused to post there because I dare not resuscitate it.

Anyone who thinks nothing should be "wasted" on a coyote has never skinned one and smelled one.  What are they good for other than if they're prime (Dec and Jan) ?  Nothing eats them other than mice and birds.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I know he's eaten some raccoon.  Don't think he's scored a Yote yet.  Just give him the whole Yote.  He could do a BBQ Yote on a rotisserie like you would do with a whole pig.

The difference is that raccoons taste good and there is an actual market for their meat in some parts of the country.

I usually just keep the tails.  The rest gets donated to mother nature.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Make jerky & give it away as Christmas gifts. They make it out of everything else...
Take'em boys!
