Puppy for sale !
« on: August 22, 2013, 09:50:39 PM »
The other afternoon I was heading down to visit the neighbors, our 6 month old puppy was down our driveway barking her fool head off...
I yelled at her and chased her home, but look what she chased out of my yard !

Nice!

Chehalis huh, about this time last year driving through town on I-5 there was a similar sized buck standing about 15-20 feet off the shoulder, just watching traffic go by, middle of the day!

I see the same three bucks sitting next to the retaining pond just before Exit 82 south bound every morning when Im heading into work in chehalis. one is a really big 3 point and the other two or 2 points.

My guess is they come out of the woods around Blair rd and go under the freeway on reynolds and come back up. Apparently they just dont care cause with all the I5 traffic, trains, and construction they still just sit in the morning sun doin their thing!

I towed a car the other day off Hwy 6 just passed 603 that nailed a 2 point and another car a week or so after that that hit a doe in almost the same exact spot.

Question for some of you that might know! In these two cases the deer were just left there and I drive a tow truck in Chehalis and I pass by a couple times a day and they are left there for several days.

Is there someone I can call at the time I get on location to tow the vehicle for someone to pick up the deer and give it to a soup kitchen or something? I just hate to see it all go to waste when it could be feeding the homeless or something!

I would take it although I know thats a no no but is it just a crap shoot or is there something I can do? In almost all instances WSP in on scene as well, could I ask them to do something?

:dunno: Not sure who could/would make use of roadkill... but that is near where I live, across the street from Claquato Cemetery.
hope it was not one of these bucks. I see does all the time, but the bucks usually come through at night.
